BizOps FAQ

This document is going to go over some very important topics regarding BizOps and hopefully will help support representatives answer some tickets without assigning them to BizOps.

Automatic Deployment Failed/Order won’t accept​

All Game Hosting is now automatically deployed if it requires more than 1 port. However, if you find an order that doesn't accept please follow the instructions in the setup guide.

Setup Addons(Unturned Only)​

Unturned has addons for setups. If someone opens a ticket about this you can use the predefined reply of the template for what BizOps needs to do for the setup. Once that is done, assign the ticket to BizOps so it gives time for them to reply before we get to it.

Dedicated IPs​

If Someone has ordered a Dedicated IP they need to be moved to the Main IP of the node and assigned the default ports of the game which can be found in the linked spreadsheet here. Ping, the hostname of the node to get the main ip. If it's not available, transfer the server to another node.

Valheim Vanilla to Valheim Plus​

When moving someone between the two ensure that they have a world backup and tell them it will require a complete wipe of the server and the world will need to be re-uploaded. Once that's done delete all the files and switch the egg to Valhiem Plus and update the startup of the server. Once all that is done reinstall the server and re-upload the world if you took the backup. Also, ensure that the world name set in the settings tab is the same as the file name.

Rust Server not starting or stuck at connected to RCON​

Check to see if the Ram on the server is maxed out, if so, recommend that they either lower their map size to the recommended on the main website or upgrade to the plan with the correct map size recommendation.

Ark Survival Evolved Crossplay​

The Ark Survival Crossplay option ONLY allows people to play between Epic Games and Steam versions of the game on PC. You can add this by heading to the Additional Parameters variable in the startup tab and adding –crossplay

Unturned to Unturned Preview​

Changing an Unturned server to the preview branch is just as easy as changing the image. It should be changed from ghcr.io/sparkedhost/images:games-unturned to ghcr.io/sparkedhost/images:games-unturned-preview

Once the image is changed, reinstall the server.

Terraria Mod Error​

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'PAL_SEHException'

When you encounter this error it's likely that the mods are using the wrong version. Transfer the ticket to Bizops or if you have Terraria upload the correct version of the mod. The big ones that cause this issue are RecipieBrowser and Magic Storage.

Updating Servers​

All Game Hosting servers automatically update on restart/start. Some servers do have the option to disable auto restart and this can be found in the startup section of the Game Panel. Double-check before replying to just restart your server or assign to BizOps.

Common Connection Issues​

If they are unable to connect to their server check their ports and ensure they are correct with what is in the setup document. If they removed the ports head to the manage tab and suspended allocation access and fix the ports.

How to update BepinEx on Valhiem​

Back up and reinstall the server and the newest version will be installed.

How to upload a different world difficulty for Terraria​

Tell them to make the world locally and set the difficulty there and then upload the world. Follow the article for uploading a world and also make sure to back up the current world in case they want to revert to that.

GetPixel called on an undefined map (valid values are 0 - 6)​

If a client receives this error you need to make a backup of the server and do a restart if it's Valhiem Plus and if it's Valheim Vanilla just simply restart.

Valheim Texture Error​

Backup the server before doing this

If this error is found in a Valhiem server causing the crash with a segmentation fault. Backup the server and download this zip

Upload this to the server and unarchive to solve the problem.

Wiping a server back to default​

The best way to do this since reinstalling just installs the main server files again is to just delete all of the files and reinstall the server and it will be back to its default state.

Valheim Crossplay​

Crossplay works between PC and Xbox for this game. However, Crossplay is not recommended unless it is for sure needed as it causes connection issues as it is still an experimental feature. You can enable it in the startup tab of the server.
